This spring, the M{2e} program is taking a closer look at the changing sports media landscape with a semester-long speaker series, "Sports Programming in the Post-TV Era." 

The series launched on February 1, 2017 with a conversation about media strategy moderated by M{2e} co-director, Christopher H. Smith and guests Justin Bergh (General Manager, CrossFit Games), and Sevan Matossian (Director of Media, CrossFit, Inc.) in the Forum of Wallis Annenberg Hall.

CrossFit is a fitness regimen developed by Greg Glassman, CrossFit's Founder and CEO, over several decades. There are more than 13,000 CrossFit affiliates around the world.
 
The CrossFit Games are world-renowned as a grueling test for the toughest athletes on Earth as well as a thrilling experience for spectators. Since its inception in 2007, the CrossFit Games have become “one of the fastest growing sports in America,” according to Forbes.
