Kati London, a social and civic game developer and executive producer for Zynga New York, will join USC Annenberg as its 2012 Innovator-in-Residence from March 29 to April 3, Dean Ernest J. Wilson III announced.
London becomes USC Annenberg's third Innovator-in-Residence, following technologist and author Jaron Lanier in 2011 and IBM Vice President of Technical Strategy and Innovation Irving Wladawsky-Berger in 2010. USC Annenberg parents Deena and Mitchell Lew have made the Innovator-in-Residence possible through a generous donation.
"I am delighted to have such a brilliant and innovative leader joining us for a week that will be beneficial for our students and faculty alike," Dean Wilson said. "We have been thrilled and inspired by previous Innovators-in-Residence, and we are looking forward to another great intellectual and collaborative experience this year."
London was named one of the Top 35 Innovators Under 35 by MIT Technology Review magazine, and has been profiled in numerous publications, including Bloomberg Businessweek and The New York Times.
