USC Annenberg lecturer and sports journalist Alan Abrahamson delivered a keynote speech at the International University Sports Federation (FISU) Conference "University and Olympic Sport: Two Models – One Goal?" in Kazan, Russia. Abrahamson spoke on the role of media in university and Olympic sport before an audience of international industry officials, including President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. He also touched on the future of journalism, encouraging members of the International Olympic Committee's "Young Reporters" program to keep the industry afloat in the future.
