The USC Center on Public Diplomacy at the Annenberg School published an article titled "Why Bangladesh should recognize Kosovos" as an example of public diplomacy between foreign countries. "The recognition of Kosovo by the People's Republic of Bangladesh would be an honorable gesture in expanding Bangladesh’s friendship with the people of Kosovo, creating bridges for cooperation and programs of mutual interest," wrote article writer Behar Xharra, who recently served as a UNDP senior expert for Millennium Development Goals.
