Tommy Derken, a USC Annenberg alumnus who graduated in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in communication, spent the past year as a “hotdogger” driving the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile around the country — spreading “miles of smiles.” In this short video, Tommy shares how his experience at USC connecting communication, entertainment and film — working in the media center, shooting video for USC athletics, along with internships — prepared him for this unique one-year gig.
