In an Oct. 3 article, China Daily noted that Dean Ernest James Wilson III was present at a Beijing conference called "Public Diplomacy in the Age of Globalization."

China's largest English-language daily newspaper cited Wilson as saying: "As the US will hold presidential and congressional elections next year, China-US relations have already become an important issue for both the Democrats and Republicans." "Wilson from the US suggested China to advance its public diplomacy to the US," says the article.
