USC Annenberg welcomes nearly 400 new faces as the Fall 2006 semester begins Monday, August 21. Joining the roughly 200 incoming master's and doctoral students in communication, communication management, journalism, strategic public relations and global communication are 16 men and women who have been confirmed to enroll as the first class of public diplomacy scholars. By taking classes at USC Annenberg and the USC School of International Relations, these students will examine the changing nature of interaction between nation-states in today's media and cultural environment. USC Annenberg also welcomes the Class of 2010, made up of nearly 200 undergraduates majoring in communication, journalism and public relations. "It will be another banner year for the USC Annenberg School," says Dean Geoffrey Cowan. "I'm pleased to have this diverse group of students and scholars from around the world join us as we advance the study and practice of journalism and communication." More information about USC Annenberg courses can be found in the USC Catalogue.
