The discussion, which is part of a weeklong conference on "Covering News of Race in a New Era," is co-sponsored by the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University. Speakers include legal scholar Lani Guinier of Harvard, author and journalist Ellis Cose and Steve Montiel (pictured), director of USC Annenberg's Institute for Justice and Journalism.
