Public relations professor Craig Carroll has been selected to receive a Mellon Award for Excellence in Mentoring. USC was selected as a pilot school for this award along with Princeton University, Brown University and Oberlin College. The awards are made possible by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Carroll teaches courses in public relations research and corporate reputation. His students at USC have accepted jobs at employers such as Burson-Marsteller, Weber Shandwick, Edelman, Hill & Knowlton, DDB, and the World Economic Forum.
