Lindsay Oman (B.A. Communication '07) and Benjamin Brown (B.A. Communication '10) made the Pacific-10 Conference Track and Field All-Academic first and second teams, respectively, Pac-10 commissioner Tom Hansen announced.
Oman, who was USC track's only first-team selection in 2007, finished her undergraduate studies last year and is pursuing a master's degree in occupational therapy. She bettered her eighth-place standing on USC's all-time heptathlon list with a point total of 5,025 at the Texas Relays in April.
Brown (3.62 GPA) specializes in the triple jump and long jump, and is a sports reporter for Annenberg TV News.
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA and be either a starter or significant contributor.
