Andrew Dubbins is a journalist whose work has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, Smithsonian, Alta, The Atavist, Slate, The Daily Beast, and other publications. He has been recognized as “Journalist of the Year” by the Los Angeles Press Club, and several of his narrative non-fiction stories have been optioned for film and TV. He earned a BA in English and government at Georgetown University and an MA in journalism at the University of Southern California, where he was a USC Annenberg Graduate Fellow.
