This annual celebration is a great opportunity for families to visit their students and get a firsthand look at life as a Trojan and all that USC has to offer. Join us for a weekend filled with enriching programs and exciting festivities!

USC Annenberg’s Trojan Family Weekend events on Friday, September 27 are listed below. Please RSVP for each USC Annenberg event listed that you plan to attend; each person attending should RSVP separately. In addition, be sure to complete the university's registration for Trojan Family Weekend.
  
Breakfast Reception with Dean Willow Bay

Meet Dean Willow Bay and the faculty and staff of USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism to learn more about why the school is a national leader in education and scholarship in the fields of communication, journalism and public relations.

Digital Dialogues: Strategies for Engaging Communities in the Modern Era
Auditorium (G26), Annenberg School of Communication building (ASC), 11:30 – 12:20 p.m.
At this moment of transformation across the communications landscape, join our industry partners (some of them also USC Annenberg parents!) to hear about the ways in which they connect with diverse communities, serve their constituencies, and build engagement and trust. Dean Willow Bay will moderate a conversation that includes insights on understanding voter sentiment with David Simas, managing director of Emerson Collective and former president of the Obama Foundation; delivering news that communities need and want with Wendy Granato, president and general manager at Los Angeles’ KABC-TV; and forging stronger connections with Gen Z with Monica Chun, chief client officer and president of brand advisory for Acceleration Community of Companies.

ASC Historic Renovation Tour 
ASC East Lobby, Annenberg School of Communication building (ASC), 1:30 – 2:15 p.m. 
Join USC Annenberg leaders for a behind-the-scenes tour of the historic ASC building, designed by acclaimed architect A. Quincy Jones. Learn how the school is transforming its signature spaces to create dynamic hubs that will lead us toward a new era of collaborative innovation. Guests will meet in the East lobby for the tour.

Join Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Director of Career Development Suzanne Alcantara, Senior Director of Alumni and Industry Relations Leticia Lozoya, and our students across communication, journalism, and public relations for a glimpse into the array of resources and opportunities students can leverage to maximize their undergraduate experience.

Supporting Thriving Trojans

Join Dr. Kelly Greco for a conversation that will empower and educate USC Annenberg families about how to support the ups and downs of their college journey. Greco is clinical associate professor in the Keck School of Medicine of USC’s Department of Psychiatry and is a USC Student Health psychologist embedded at USC Annenberg.
