M{2e}’s Women’s Leadership Society (WLS) is pleased to host Naledi Nyahuma Seck (MBA, Entertainment Marketing ’11) for a conversation on diversity, inclusion and female leadership in the music industry.
Originally from Philadelphia, Naledi is an alumna of Spelman College with an MBA in Entertainment Marketing from USC’s Marshall School of Business. As the Director of Diversity & Inclusion at Universal Music Group, Naledi contributes to the label’s overall brand strategy through the lens of diversity. In this role, she is responsible for developing company-wide diversity initiatives while also advising and collaborating with individual labels to implement programs for employees and artists.
Prior to UMG, she worked for the Recording Academy, AEG/L.A. LIVE, and the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation with experience in business operations, marketing, event management, strategic partnerships and artist management. Naledi advises and consults creatives in her spare time. Naledi is passionate about the music industry and believes it is our duty to lift others up as we climb.
